1. General Shipping Information

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through the Legacy London online store. It complements our Terms of Service and reflects our commitment to providing a transparent and reliable delivery experience for our customers across the United Kingdom and internationally.

2. Delivery Areas

We primarily ship within the United Kingdom (including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). We also offer international shipping to selected countries, which will be displayed as options during the checkout process.

Please note that delivery to remote areas, such as the Scottish Highlands and Islands, may take slightly longer than standard estimates.

3. Shipping Carriers

To ensure your order reaches you safely and efficiently, we work with established domestic and international couriers (such as Royal Mail, DPD, or Evri). The choice of carrier is made at our discretion based on the size, value, and destination of your parcel.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Order value (e.g., Free Shipping thresholds)

  • Weight and dimensions of the package
    All applicable shipping charges will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

5. Order Processing Time

All orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 5 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays) after payment confirmation.

Please note that processing time is separate from the actual shipping/transit time.

6. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times vary by destination and will be shown at checkout. For most UK orders, delivery typically takes 2 to 7 business days after dispatch.

While we strive to meet these estimates, please note that delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by external factors beyond our control, such as carrier delays or seasonal peaks.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number (where available). You can use this number to monitor your parcel's journey via the carrier’s website.

8. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

For orders delivered within the United Kingdom, standard UK taxes apply. For international orders (outside the UK), your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes once it reaches your destination country.

Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer. Legacy London has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

9. Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, or if the parcel is not collected/accepted, we reserve the right to charge for any redelivery costs incurred.
